Thank you, Mr. Groundhog.

I dont know about all of you, but I am sick and tired of winter. So when I heard that our little groundhog friend Phil did NOT see his shadow today, I had reason to celebrate. Spring is coming early! So I busted out my yellow flats today in celebration. Am I the only one that thinks Yellow when Springtime rolls around? ( I also learned that Phil is only right 39% of the time. Maybe we should consider nominating a new groundhog...)

So, in celebration, tell me what your favorite thing about SPRING is?? I will start. My favorite thing about Spring is walking out the front door and not getting a frigid gust of ice cold air in your face. Short sleeves. Fresh cut grass. Chirping Birds. Kids playing outside. Days are getting longer. Flip- flops. Tulips. Duck families swimming in the lake. Memories of {B} being born in April. Finishing up another school year. Was that more than one favorite thing? Happy G-Hog day.

  1. REAL lemonade, made from lemons I squeezed. Ohhh sweet mercy I want some now. That and skirts, I love wearing skirts! And the sun still being out after 8. Ahh, love it.

  2. Yellow is my FAVORITE color! It also reminds me of spring. I've been wearing a yellow hoodie all winter! (My nephew Boog calls me BJ...from Barney...it's only slightly annoying.)
I love Spring because things are blooming and becoming renewed! It feels like a fresh start. I love the flowers and the birds chirping make spring so pleasant. I love busting out the flip-flops *which I mentioned in my blog post today, lol* and capris. I love my spring purses and taking my nephew to the park; finally!

    Love your cute blog!

  4. Amie- I have a really good recipe for homemade lemonade. Have you ever used fresh oranges in it? It gives it a sweeter taste. AMAZING!

Whitney- we are yellow friends. Wear the BJ name with pride! When I was pregnant with {B} I was wearing a yellow shirt, and a lady called me big bird. It was not a good day.

Lori- good for you for even planting. I have NO hope in that area whatsoever! :)

    thanks for stopping by ladies!

My favorite thing(s) about Spring is warmer weather!! I very strongly dislike the cold! I like doing my flowerbeds, going to the park, my baby's birthday which is also in April, going fishing with my hubby, and flip-flops, of course! I can't wait for Spring!
